“The
thing for me is the opportunity to
have very good facilities and
practice in sub continent
conditions. GCS provides plenty of
experienced net bowlers which are
brilliant. You can come and work as
hard as you want. It’s a perfect
scenario, perfect place for whatever
level your playing whether it is
International level or just
starting, this is where majority
cricket is happening”

“The
most unique thing about GCS is for
guys who did not have the
opportunity to come and play in
India before, to come to the
sub-continent and play in a good
environment, with good facilities,
good number of net bowlers, it is
really well organised. Sachin Bajaj
will go out of the way to make sure
you are comfortable, happy and every
need you might have is looked
after.”

“The
Global Cricket School was a
fantastic experience for me to learn
more about the game of cricket as a
whole, the art of bowling spin and
more about myself as a person and a
cricketer. Umesh is a fantastic
coach who has an amazing ability to
keep things simple but also to
challenge your thinking and the
status quo. I thoroughly enjoyed my
time at the GCS and within 10 days I
managed to learn a huge amount and
develop greatly as a player. I would
recommend the experience to
everyone!”

“I
have been fortunate enough to have
visited India in a coaching capacity
three time in the last twelve
months. On each occasion the Global
Cricket School has looked after my
stay with everything being carried
out to the highest of standards. My
players (Ireland and Leinster
U’19’s) have benefited greatly from
playing / practising in the sub
continent conditions and the trips
have assisted their development as
players hugely. I am currently
planning to send more young
cricketers from Ireland to team up
with the Global Cricket School in
2009”

“We
look for people who can help us to
organize a program in India and
Sachin Bajaj has organized our trip
very very well Through the England
& Wales Cricket Board. Our
players like Andrew Strauss, Eion
Morgan & Matt Prior have
benefited their time stay in india
which has helped them to prepare for
the series ahead with Pakistan.
Playing in India is a very hard
thing to do. As a player if you come
to the sub-continent and do well you
feel complete as a player because
you are going out of your natural
environment & that’s why ¡ feel
coming to Global cricket School is a
great experience for our young
players.”

“We
have been associated with the Global
Cricket School now for a number of
years and highly recommend the
service and experience they provide.
They have already delivered coaching
programmes for our professional
players Geraint Jones, James
Tredwell, Darren Stevens, Robert
Ferley and Paul Dixey as well as a
number of our Academy scholars. We
have experienced excellent
facilities and coaching for winter
and spring development training as
well as pre season preparation. The
facilities offer comfortable
accommodation, restaurants, top
quality turf practice wickets and
other facilities such as swimming,
squash and fitness activities. For
any aspiring cricketer looking to
develop their game this is a
wonderful opportunity to experience
and learn about the sub continent
approach to cricket and in
particular the way they coach and
the methods they use.”

“I
have sent some of my players to a
number of camps run by Sachin Bajaj
in both Mumbai and Mohali. He has
always been very well organized and
my players have gained a great deal
from them. I can confirm that it is
likely that I will use Sachin again
so that they can gain valuable
experience abroad, particularly at
the Cricket Club of India (CCI) in
Mumbai.”

“The
England Performance Programme has
been able to call upon the services
of the Global Cricket School, in the
guise of Sachin, Umesh and Dipal, on
a number of occasions over the past
12 months. We relied heavily upon
the local knowledge, liaison and
assistance which GCS afforded us in
establishing and running our
Performance Camp in Mohali and
Chennai in November / December 2007
and again called upon their services
in supporting the England Lions
participation in the Duleep Trophy
in February 2008. Once again, we
will be holding a Performance Camp
in India in November / December 2008
for many of England’s brightest
young players. The support which we
are given in all areas has been ever
willing and available and of the
highest quality. We remain most
grateful.”

“ICC
Europe’s experience with the Global
Cricket School commenced several
years ago with a number of
individual and ICC European member
country visits having now taken
place. The highlight so far has been
the European Academy visit to Mumbai
in 2008. Our academy squad was based
at the CCI for 10 days where the
players were put through a demanding
programme by the ICC Europe and GCS
coaching teams. Since returning from
India a significant number of our
academy players have established
themselves as senior national team
cricketers for their countries. The
GCS has created an environment in
Mumbai which provides elite players
with the opportunity to develop and
nurture their skills at a wonderful
venue. All the European players that
attended will have benefited from
their experiences in India.”

“It is
testimony in itself of the quality
of the Global Cricket School that
Somerset County Cricket Club have
returned for a third consecutive
year to Mumbai to undertake the Spin
Clinic. Each year a number of
senior, accompanied by Academy,
players have developed their batting
against spin, in conditions that
can’t be replicated at home. We have
a philosophy that you always train
harder than the real thing, so the
real thing is easily achievable. GCS
offers us that training environment.
Together with the conditions, the
bowlers and the experienced coaches
players have reaped the rewards. I,
as head Coach, am extremely keen to
not only develop the life skills and
experiences of players but to open
their minds to challenging practices
and individual developments.”
